Comment: I've nearly always been a stay-at-home mom.  Sometimes the "mom" part was for 4 kids and sometimes for 10.  (We've had 419 different foster kids in addition to our 4.  I've also taught ballet, tap, etc from time to time, and worked with special needs kids.  I'm still married to the love of my life and best friend Dennis.  After CSU and the army, he spent 30 years on the Colorado Springs Fire Department followed by several years teaching special needs high school kids.  Our baby boy has been on the CSFD too, for 14 yrs.  Both of my guys are heroes!

We love to travel around the country, standing where history's taken place and absorbing nature --there's always more to see.  We love to hang out in the boonies (the wild) and our yard's becoming wilder--preparing for the future.  I did turn chicken, though, when it came to swimming in the Arctic Ocean....guess I really am getting old!

We have four wonderful kids and two perfect (and grown) grandkids.
