Jane Ann Willis Smith “Mima” took her last breath on the morning of March 19, 2025, in Blanchard, Oklahoma at the age of 76. Jane was born on Friday, August 13, 1948, in Manhattan, Kansas to Donald and Peggy Willis.  Jane grew up in Topeka and Wichita, Kansas and graduated high school from Arapahoe High School in Littleton, Colorado in 1966. From there she attended Kansas State University where she met Ty Smith. She and Ty married May 10, 1969, in Wichita, Kansas. Jane moved to Tulsa from Kansas in 1976 with her husband Ty and son Christopher where she would spend the rest of her life raising her kids and loving those around her.  Jane worked secretarial jobs throughout her life where she always cultivated strong relationships coupled with her amazing organizational skills. Her greatest love though was her family, and she was a mom until the very end. She was the embodiment of love and concern for her kids and grandkids. She always wanted to know that everyone was home and safe, and thanks to Life 360, that became easier for her in these last few years.  Jane was preceded in death by her parents Don and Peggy Willis, brother-in-law Robert Welty, and her husband Ty Smith.

Jane’s legacy will be carried on by her son Christopher Smith and his wife Kelly of Blanchard, Oklahoma; daughter Charlotte Smith and her husband Khris of Howe, Oklahoma; siblings; Sue Perrin and husband Dave, Marty Welty, and Steve Willis and fourteen grandchildren: Caleb, Coulter, Kylie, Garrett, Jansen, Ruby, Mariah, Prairie, Mabel, Justus, Levi, Mar, Finn, and Rohan.
