Richard Earl Miller, age 75, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Select Medical Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Richard was born on July 1, 1947 in New London, CT to the late Delbert James Miller and Muriel Dean Parmenter. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Byron Miller.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sterling T. Miller; son, Rich (Peggy) Miller; daughter, Sarah Maxwell; sisiters, Reba (Jerry) Bonnie, Carol Teller, and Linda Niffenegger; granddaughters, Lizeth Villegas, Gisela Samudio, Peggy Denise, Jordan Miller, and Pamela Miller; great grandchildren, Hailey, Mya, Vincent, Sean, Anthony, Aaliyah, and Raphael.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 am Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jesse Fleck officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, February, 10, 2024 at the church from 10:00-11:00 am.
Richard was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. A life member of the Tennessee Jaycees and a member of Cole Park Golf at Fort Campbell. Richard was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served until his Honorable discharge. Richard was a Kirby vacuum dealer in Clarksville for five years, until he became the General Manager of Gordon Hawkins Ride America for over 15 years until the business closed. He was an avid golfer and a regular in the casino.
