Can you believe we're doing this again?  The web site is up, the first wave of emails has gone out and we're all set for the gala Friday event.  The rest of the weekend is on your own, so make the best of Friday to link up with old friends and do something memorable on Saturday!  If you have any comments or other topics to post, feel free.

Has anybody tried the light rail from DIA down to Littleton?  Some of us coming in from out of town may want to use that mode to avoid rental car charges.  As I understand it, the train stop at Lincoln is an easy walk to the Hampton Inn that has rooms blocked for us.

I have been browsing our reunion site and just want to thank you for creating a great resource.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I am glad to see Dick Puter's query about Don Smith, and I do hope he will attend. See you all soon!!

Hi Candy - Can't wait to see you again!  I'm sure you're as beautiful as you were when you accompanied me to a Denver Bears baseball game in '66...I'm sure you remember "the one" I'm talking about.  Hope you've stayed with your flute.  Believe it or not, I still play clarinet every week at church.  It would be oboe, but I don't own one and they start at $2500.

Blessings,

Dick

It sounds great! Hope to see some Tom Toms. If you're in town come by to see me at John Elway Chevrolet, the old Burt Chevy on Broadway.  I'm the main receptionist in the showroom.  I'm here mornings until 12:30.  Then I can start registering in my head all the faces!

Looking forward to seeing you and hopefully many other Tom-Toms at the reunion.  Will wwe recognize each other?

Thanks for putting this together, Jim!  Looking forward to seeing how it grows.  Also looking forward to catching up with old friends.  And they still have TomToms!

Thanks for the kind words, Joyce.  It's a team effort and I'm just manning the website.  We're getting tremendous interest generated this early and it's shaping up to be the best attended reunion the Class of '66 has ever put together.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Comments: To my swim teammate and fellow Class of '66 friend, Bob Dolezal... Maybe after almost 50 years, you've forgotten my occasional very BAD attempts at tongue-in-cheek humor. Since one not knowing us might think I was in fact "calling you out" about our swim team loss to Aurora Central our senior year, I should re-phrase my statement. Had I won my events that day instead of losing to Ron Koch too, his incredible finish in the 400 Free Relay wouldn't have made any difference...we'd have won the meet anyway. Just setting the record straight. To those of you that this seems like complete insanity to be talking about almost a half-century after the fact, do forgive my addled ramblings. I'm 67 years old now and have accumulated the usual "eccentricities" that go with becoming our age. I'm sure you have yours too! Why, it seems like just a year or two ago I attended our 20th reunion...stunning to consider. Blessings to you all! Do look for me at the reunion and decide for yourself if I'm really completely nutso or not. Anyone know if Don Smith and Larry Becker are still with us? I loved and respected both of these faculty members. Sincerely, Dick Puter

Both Mr. Smith and Mr. Becker are alive and well, Dick.  Mr. Becker has already said he'll be there and I'm sure Mr. Smith, who lives locally, will also attend.

These 56 years have flown bye. I can't help but wonder what our next 56 years will bring. ( well a gal can dream right?) So much has happened, through these years that it could take a lifetime just to tell it all. I can't wait to see all of you. I trust that our Lord has been good to you. I look forward to hearing all of your exploits. Until then, I remain, with fond regards, Lawana. P. S. I know that back then I didn't accomplish much, but something wonderful happened and my life could fill volumns of books...
